Photos: 9yr old boy survives after a car hits and threw him 6 metres in the air

Nur Aidil Hakim Mohammad, 9, miraculously walked away with only a few scratches after he was knocked by a car and flew six metres in the air at Jalan Permatang Pauh, Indonesia, on Sunday October 25.

In the footage, Mohammad was seen running across the road before being knocked by a Toyota Altis. He was thrown in the air and landed some six meters away. Miraculously, the only injuries he sustained were a few scratches on his body and his head.

Three new cases of Ebola recorded in Guinea

According to a senior health official in Guinea who spoke yesterday Wednesday, October 28, three more people have been infected with the Ebola virus. According to Fode Tass Sylla, spokesman for the national centre for the fight against Ebola, the three were infected in Forecariah in western Guinea from the family of a woman who died of Ebola and whose body was handled without appropriate protection.

 "In all, nine sick people are being treated at our centres throughout the country and most are connected to the dead woman," he told Reuters, adding that authorities had known of the three fresh cases since Saturday.

An Akure Chief Magistrates’ Court today October 25th sentenced a security guard, Onoja Abel, to seven years imprisonment for raping a nine-year-old girl. Abel had lured the girl into his room and raped her three times, between September to October 2015.

Horrifying footage has emerged showing four women suspected of witchcraft being tortured, stripped, tied up and burned by an angry mob in Papua New Guinea.
The women were accused of sorcery after a young man fell ill in a village in Enga province in August.

Woman who gave birth aboard a Chinese flight faces paying £21,000 to the airline

Remember the woman who gave birth on a plane a China Airlines flight from Taipei to Los Angeles? Well, she is to be prosecuted by the airline. Airport bosses claim she was breaking regulations by not telling them she was 36 weeks pregnant.

The new mum, who has not be named went into labour while on board. The flight had to land in Anchorage, Alaska, so the woman could get medical treatment and be sent to a hospital.

FG withdraws forgery charges against Leadership Newspapers Journalists

The Federal Government has withdrawn the the alleged forgery of Presidential Bromide case filed against two journalists with Leadership Newspapers at an Abuja High Court. The journalists, Mr, Tony Amokeodo (Group News Editor) and Chibuzo Ukaibe (Politcal  Correspondent) are standing trial for allegedly forging a presidential bromide published in the newspaper on April 3, 2013.
The government's position is contained in a letter signed by the Director of Public Prosecution, Mr. Muhammad Diri, addressed to its counsel, Chief Adegboyega Awomolo (SAN). The letter directed him to discontinue the case.
