After getting through his legal issues earlier this year, Chris Brown will finally focus on the music and release his latest album ‘X’.
Here is a look at the artwork and tracklist. The LP is packed with 21 records and contains features from Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Tyga, Usher, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, R.Kelly, Akon, Nicki Minaj and Aaliyah. It is set to be released on September 16th.

Navy discharges black sailor for refusing to cut off her natural hair

This week, the U.S Navy announced that it was discharging Jessica Sims, an Africa American woman who has been a sailor for 12-years, for “failing to obey an order to cut off her natural hairstyle.”

The military has been under scrutiny for guidelines issued in March that critics believe were discriminatory toward African-American women. Those regulations “specifically forbid several hairstyles popular for black women who keep their hair natural, including twists, headbands, dreadlocks, or multiple braids that are larger than a quarter-inch.” A former U.S. Army Major, sharply criticized the regulations, noting they targeted “natural styles African American service women have been wearing for years.” Continue..

Meet the 3 week old Nigerian baby who can already feed herself

At just 3 weeks old, baby Amara Chiedozie can hold her feeding bottle...and her mum, 20 year old student Onyi Chiedozie, claims she's been doing this since was just three days old. How is this even possible? Her mum explains;

‘When we were feeding, she started shaking, then she just grabbed the bottle. She was holding it by herself. We couldn’t believe it because babies don’t normally do it that young. I’m so shocked that I have been documenting it every day. It’s unbelievable.

"When she doesn’t want it she will push it away. She isn’t strong enough to throw it away, but she does push it, like she does with her dummy. If she is really hungry, she starts shaking. Then she will just grab the bottle as you give it to her.’

Onyi, who is a single mother and lives in Essex, UK, says she makes sure she is always watching her daughter when she is feeding herself.

Chef cooking snake dies after cobra bites him - 20 minutes after head was cut off

19 yr old rapes chicken to death in Ondo, says a spirit directed him to do so

A 19 year old welder apprentice was caught yesterday August 19th after having sex with a chicken at the Continental area of Akure, the Ondo state capital.

According to reports by Vanguard, the boy was discovered to have committed the act after the owner of the chicken, Mrs Stella Akintola, who is the boy's neighbor and reared chickens in the compound, heard her chickens making noise inside their pen and decided to go and find out why they were restless.

Another Liberian reportedly certified with the Ebola Virus In Lagos

Now I don't know how true this is because I didn't watch this myself but according to CKN, a Senior Registrar with Igbobi Orthopaedic hospital, Lagos, Dr Akindele Akintayo revealed this morning on a TV programme that another Liberian have also been dictated with the deadly Ebola virus in Nigeria.

Dr. Akintayo said on the programme that the Liberian has been kept at the IDH in Lagos and could not confirm if the new case had a contact with late Mr Sawyer or not. More on this later...

If you’ve tried to treat these stubborn growths in the past, you know that traditional cleansers and scrubs have no clearing effect.

The annoying yet harmless condition is known as keratosis pilaris. A variant of eczema, the bumps tend to plague people who have a family history of atopic dermatitis—or dry skin marked by scaly patches.

Dry weather aggravates keratosis pilaris, so you may see more bumps during the winter months, but heat and humidity can also trigger the condition. It’s more of a bother in the summer when we’re wearing skin-baring styles, and the last thing you want is chicken skin at the beach.

The problem starts when extra skin cells cluster around hair follicles, causing a knob to form and elevate. The hair can then get trapped underneath the cells, sometimes turning into a brown or red dot that you can see in the center of the bump. Unfortunately, there’s no cure or way to entirely stop the process yet.

How Ebola Is Spread From Human to Human

Yahoo News is reporting that two Americans infected with Ebola will be treated in the United States, marking the first time the deadly virus has been treated within U.S. borders. 

The evacuations of Dr. Kent Brantly and missionary Nancy Writebol are being facilitated by the State Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Emory University in Atlanta announced at a press conference on Friday that it will be treating two patients with the Ebola virus. 

As of this week, Ebola virus disease (EVD) has killed more than 700 people, according to the World Health Organization. There is no cure and no vaccine for EVD, which kills between 60 and 90 percent of its victims. The current outbreak — the largest in history — originated in Liberia and has spread to neighboring countries, but it has been contained thus far to West Africa.

The news that people infected with disease will be treated here in the U.S. sparked quite a reaction on social media, inspiring even a certain celebrity billionaire to take to Twitter in protest: 

CDC director Thomas Frieden, M.D., called Ebola “a dreadful, merciless virus” on a press call on Thursday, so it’s understandable that Americans would be concerned. But the chance that someone in the general population will contract Ebola is still extremely small.

Ciara & Future call off their engagement 3 months after having son

One of the nurses who had previously had contact with the Liberian Ebola patient Patrick Sawyer, fled her quarantine center in Lagos and returned to her home in Enugu, exposing about 20 people who she came in contact with to the deadly virus.

 Information Minister Labaran Makuwho disclosed this said the nurse and the  20 others people who she came in contact with are all under surveillance in Enugu.

‘Why my husband came to Nigeria’- Late Patrick Sawyer's wife writes

In defense of her late husband, Mrs Decontee Sawyerr, widow of Late Patrick Sawyerr, the Liberian man who came into Nigeria with the deadly Ebola virus, has said her sick husband risked all to come to Nigeria because he believed so much in the health system here & wanted to be properly diagnosed and treated. She explained her thoughts on her facebook wall and also took a swipe at the Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who called out her late husband recently in a CNN interview. What she wrote below...
"Good day my Facebook friends and FAM. I hope all is well with you. Thank you for all of your kind words and support for me and my family. You strengthen me more than you realize. According to an article written on Ava's birthday (August 10) by Sabrina Tavernise of the New York Times, "...in another Liberian newspaper, The New Dawn, which cited footage from a security camera in the airport in Monrovia, Mr. Sawyer behaved strangely as he waited for his flight out of Liberia. He sat alone, avoiding physical contact with people, including an immigration agent who tried to shake his hand, and even lay flat on his stomach on the floor of a corridor of the airport, the paper reported.
