At LAX on Tuesday, a clown confetti-bombed Jennifer Lopez — he must've been very excited about her new haircut! At the airport, the singer debuted a new shorter 'do. Much like her signature style featuring long layers, this new one is basically a cropped version, with the same part and shagginess.
Color or cut are the most typical hair transformations, but Jennifer Lawrence, who has been growing out a pixie for months, debuted blonde surfer waves in New York City. Over the past month, nearly everyone has gone for some kind of change: Justin Bieber got an undramatic buzz; Hilary Duff went blue then pink; Dakota Johnson got a bob; Amy Poehler went red (even though she's been blonde forever); and Tyra Banks debuted a drastic new 'do via social media. Idina Menzel posted an Instagram as a blonde, in the footsteps of a trio of top stars who ditched their brunette locks to go platinum blond—we’re looking at you Kim Kardashian, Jared Leto, and Felicity Jones. Girls star Lena Dunham appeared on the Late Night with Seth Meyers in a patterned top and leather mid-length skirt, and a smashing a new haircut. The kittenish pixie, which was championed by Mia Farrow back in the late 60s/early 70s, is perfectly on trend with the times, while others like Lily Collins and Nicole Richie are exhibiting a similar look.
