Entertainers venture into Politics Because They Are Frightened About Their Tomorrow
Charly Boy in a chat with Punch has
answered the big question everyone has been asking about entertainers
delving into politics all of a sudden. Mr Charly said, most of them are
doing so because they are afraid of their future and only looking for a
way of securing it. Hear him;
“We are living in very hard times and however they think they can augment their source of livelihood; I understand some of these issues because our environment has become crazy and unpredictable whereby they do not know what is going to happen tomorrow.
“I know to some people, they think politics is the way. Personally, I would never do that; I would never jump into something I know nothing about. We Nigerians are like ‘group-souls,’ meaning we just rush into what we see everybody going into.
“Whether we can go through that route or not is irrelevant; but because everybody is going through it, we just want to be a part of it. It is also known as the ‘bandwagon syndrome.’
“That is not my template of doing things, anybody that knows me know that I don’t venture into things others are doing. I don’t follow the bandwagon and that is why I do not see myself venturing into politics and I have a little disrespect for politicians. I know that most of them are bad and they are people who have not nurtured themselves as leaders and are involved in politics because of the money they want to steal.
“That is not a good thing, but I cannot stop somebody who is frightened of his/her tomorrow to venture in the same path. I pray and hope that they can make it because there is nowhere that is easy.”

“I left my marriage because it was full of lies’ Uche Ogbodo opens up
Actress Uche Ogbodo’s marriage ended a few months after it was contracted_while she was pregnant. Speaking to Vanguard about it, Uche said her marriage ended because it was full of lies.
“My marriage was full of lies. I cannot tell you in detail what those lies were, if that’s what you’re trying to make me do but it was based on lies. It’s a pity it didn’t work out. I didn’t go into the marriage to crash it. I wanted a family; I wanted a loving home and a loving husband. That was why I went into it in the first place but as nature would have it, I didn’t get any of those. I still thank God my head is intact.”Was it really a marriage?
I’m Quitting Music for Politics because I can’t be singing at 35 -9ice
It’s no news that 9ice is now a politician. However, many of is didn’t know he was actually dropping music in totality.

- Yes, I want to leave music for politics. Next year January, I will
be 35-years-old and I’m not praying to still be in music at that age. I
am serious about politics now. If you listen to my music, you would
notice that politics has been part of me; it’s in my blood. When I
started initially, I talked about being your brother’s keeper, and
that’s why I studied Law at Lagos State University before I dropped out
to concentrate on my music career. I hate when things go wrong. When two
or three people are having issues, I love to get there to settle their
differences. I have passion for politics and it has always been in my
blood.

Wiz Khalifa files an official response to Amber Rose’s divorce papers
Wiz Khalifa, who split from Amber Rose on Monday, September 22, 2014,
contested his estranged wife’s bid to gain sole legal and physical
custody of Sebastian, 19-months, in new court documents filed in Los
Angeles yesterday Friday, September 26, 2014 and has hired high profile
lawyer Laura Wasser to represent him in their increasingly bitter
divorce.
Like Amber, the ‘We Dem Boyz’ hitmaker wants their prenuptial
agreement to be enforced, according to gossip website TMZ.com, and has
also agreed to pay her spousal support.
Sources said their prenuptial contract states she will receive upwards of $5,000 per month.
Another insider recently claimed the blonde beauty, who previously
dated Kanye West and recently signed up to Nick Cannon‘s management
firm, will receive more than $1 million as part of their divorce
settlement.
Amber recently slammed ‘fake’ rumors claiming she had grown close to Nick, 33, following his recent split from Mariah Carey.
She wrote on Twitter: ‘Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this…..
‘Unfortunately my now ex husband can’t say the same….
‘I’m devastated and crushed but my main focus is Sebastian. Thank u for all the support in this difficult time.(sic)’
Why I’m campaigning for political office with Blonde hair – Toni Tetuila
Last week, Tony Tetuila attracted criticism when his campaign poster
showed him rocking his signature blonde hair. Many branded him a joker
.He defended his look ,telling the Nigerian Tribune
“I am not going to the office to sing, though I am an artiste, I am going to serve my people. I am not going to office with the tinted hair.I was discussing with some youth leaders who said I could leave the hair, but now that people are speaking on it, I have to do what my people want.”I only used the blonde hair to campaign because everybody knows Tony Tetuila with that trademark.
He also denied being broke saying
“How can I be broke? I am not broke, everybody knows where I am coming from, I am not going into politics for the fun of it, we artistes always sing about poverty but rarely do anything about it.If you know songs like “prayer for Naija” and e go better you will see that we only complain but we don’t do anything about the suffering. We want Nigerians to live a better life. What I am going to deliver matters and not the hair.”

9ice says he plans to quit music for politics
In an interview with Sun News,
9ice says he plans to quit music to concentrate fully on politics
because he can't be singing at 35. He can't? What he said below...

If you go fully into politics, most of your friends and fans will miss you?I will say they will love me more by the time they see the plans that I have for them. I have so many plans on my mind. Imagine if the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was a politician, he will not just criticize the mistakes of our leaders but also correct them. Imagine if Wole Soyinka was to be the president of this nation, people like him are only preaching the truth and criticising the government but they are not ready to get into politics to make corrections. I am tired of preaching, I want to contribute my own quota for the sake of my people. We have graduates riding commercial motorcycles (okada), selling meat etc, their certificates are not being used but they are shouting that the government is not doing well. There can’t be any change if the youths don’t stand-up now to do something to help the country.
“I will Never and Not Recognize My Father” – Ramsey Noauh
Ramsey Noauh in recent times has kept mute about his
father and the reason is said to be that Ramsey Nouah’s father
abandoned his mother while he was little.

In a recent interview with SaharaTV reporter on a movie set where he was playing the role of a lover boy, the reporter showed him a photo of his misplaced siblings and a man who is said to be his father and asked him if he recognizes them.
The irritated actor said no, that his mother never told him about any siblings and the man in the picture will never and is not recognized by him as his father.
The actor also spoke about his role as a playboy in movies, he said the character is tiresome and a cliché. “I would like to play the bad boy with a machine gun…” says Nouah.

Pop Stars Reportedly Denied Visa To Namibia Due To Ebola Scare
Psquare‘s forthcoming concert in Namibia
just turned into a huge disappointment after the country’s immigration
office allegedly refused to grant the popular music group visas.
The duo was billed to perform at a grand musical show down organized by the Namibian Breweries Limited at Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek on Saturday Sept.28, with VIP tickets already sold-out.
The concert was also set to kick off the group’s “Double Trouble” tour.
But following the country’s strict border laws disallowing people from Ebola-infected nations into Namibia, Psquare might not be able to get on with their high-profile event on time.
According to starafrica.com, the Nigerian High Commissioner to Namibia, Biodun Nathaniel Olorufemi has
confirmed to Namibian Sun on Wednesday that the P-Square’s visa
application to travel to Namibia was rejected by the country’s High
Commission in Nigeria.
To make matters even worse, the Home Affairs Permanent Secretary Patrick Nandago
insists the government policy that people from Ebola stricken countries
are not allowed to enter the country, until further notice.
His statement came even without the slightest idea of Psquare visa chaos.
