There was a plethora of pink dresses at the Academy Awards
on Sunday night. The shades varied from a blush hue worn by Zoe Saldana in
Atelier Versace to the hot pink frock TV personality Lara Spencer wore on the
red carpet. Even Vogue
editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour got into the trend with a very, very light
pink dress with matching fur capelet. Gwyneth
Paltrow, meanwhile, reverted to the color that she wore to win her Oscar in
1999. She wore Ralph
Lauren then, and this year it was a Ralph & Russo couture gown with a
big rose motif at the shoulder. It was a bit cheesy for the 42-year-old, but
Karolina Kurkova positively glowed in her faint pink Marchesa gown. Whose pink
did you prefer?
