'Inequality And Injustice Drove Me Crazy': Zoe Saldana Admits It's Tough Being A Woman In A Man's World

Zoe Saldana may be a beautiful and famous actress but she thinks it’s still tough being a woman in a world benefitting men.
The Avatar actress was aware of how unfair life is for females from an early age and made it clear that she does not accept that.
The 35-year-old from New Jersey shared that society’s notion of how ladies should be treated sends her bonkers.
"It's very hard being a woman in a man's world, and I recognised it was a man's world even when I was a kid," she told Manhattan magazine.
"It's an inequality and injustice that drove me crazy, and which I always spoke out against—and I've always been outspoken."

Zoe married Marco Perego in July after having previously dated Bradley Cooper, and is as picky with her work as she is with her men.
She acknowledged that she is careful with which screen jobs she says yes to.
"I'm known for being selective in part I either pick or pursue, and what matters most is that they be good female roles where the character isn't cardboard or objectified, and where there's real substance," she said.
“No generic girlfriend or wife, and no sexy bombshell. Enough of that already!"
Zoe had to perform ballet in her first flick, romantic drama, Center Stage.
She explained that taking ballet classes as a child helped her not only with landing the part but in many aspects of her life.
"The barre, the piano, the breathing—they calmed and centred me, and allowed me to learn lessons physically, which is how I learn best,” she said.
